The ninja world war is at its climax. There are three major battles that will determine the fate of the world. Sasuke finally catches up with Itachi and Kabuto. And Kabuto claims that Sasuke arrival is lucky for him, because he tought Sasuke will disturb Itachi's plan which is to stop his edo tensei in any moment.
Meanwhile in battle between 5 Kage and Madara, Tsunade still survive from Madara's attack. She snaps the root that piercing her body in two, but Madara hits her again for the second time. And it seems like Tsunade still survive. Madara realizes that tsunade can revive herself without using any seals, the same ability that Hasirama had. When madara distracted by Tsunade, Oonoki used the occasion to attack him with his "Jinton Genkai Kakuri No Jutsu", but failed. Madara insist that all jutsu are useless against Rinnegan, the only chances to defeat him, they have to hit him directly or seal him. Tsunade taunts Madara with the fact that they've cornered him and forced him to use clone techniques. But it makes the situation worse, Madara makes multiple mokuton clones of himself. To make this battle fair, Madara send a group heads toward each Kage.
Back again with Sasuke, Itachi and Kabuto. Kabuto insist that Itachi's presence here is a problem to both himself and Sasuke. So Kabuto suggest Sasuke team up with him to kill Itachi. But Sasuke reject his offer and throws shuriken toward him, but Itachi blocks them because he doesn't want Kabuto die. Itachi explains to Sasuke that he'll use tsukuyomi to control Kabuto and undo the edo tensei. Itachi claims that he is the edo tensei technique's weakness. Sasuke and Itachi team up to stop Kabuto.
